Constant Pictures is a young film production company consisting of 10 young Londoners aged 15-22 working in collaboration with Eelyn Lee Productions and A New Direction to produce high quality films within their city.

This is the new “wear your seatbelt” ad the UK is doing - started by some dude not hired to do it, but because the cause is important to him, he came up with this idea, and now it’s being hailed across the world as a ‘ beautiful’ commercial.
And now the video has become so popular with the general public that people are forwarding it to friends/family on their own so quickly that it has spread all over the world in a very short time.

So, today we all met up at Temple Yard to look at the final.. final edit of A New Direction’s Promo film. It’s looking Great! We then began to discuss Steve’s quote of the film being “Aspirational”. What does this word mean? And how has this word had an impact on us?
We then spoke about what roles suit us best and what part of the media industry are we particularly most interested in and why? I found that my new nickname was now ‘The Professor’ ..lol..
We then began to think about the website, this would contain a showcase of our films and profiles about each of us (image/text/video). We also needed to think about a ‘team name’ to represent us containing the number 5! - We need to think about this in the next couple of weeks.
The Launch of our production team will be on 17th July, once we are officially launched we will promote our selves via the website to get more projects to be involved in. This will then give us hands on experience within the industry.
Yejide had published us in the AND eNewsletter and had gotten a response from a company called ‘Untold Design CIC’ - you can find out more about them on:
They consist of emerging designers are in need of a promotional film/ad. They are a Community Interest Company.
From this, we moved on to talk about Social Enterprise which is basically once you get paid for your work you re-invest your profits to make your next project much better.. I think.. :S .. lol..
The AND Promo may be release on the AND website this week.. hopefully.. :)

Take a look at this orange rock corp advert, maybe we could apply that technique when representing the different cultures, ethnics, ages ect the poeple new direction represent and areappealing to.
